Hello, I had been given some tongue depressors by a friend who asked if I could make use of them. After a good look into my crafting goodies I decided to make them into bookmarks for my Etsy store, Everyone's Secret Etsy Store.
Some of the embellishments I hand painted... the hearts, butterflies and sign posts. These had a couple of coats of spray varnish before they were hot glued to the tongue depressors.
The other embellishments were flatbacks and wooden buttons I had been waiting to find a project for. To finish the bookmarks off I added some ribbon bows and gems for a little bling.
