Homemade pieces from the past

After my last update I decided to show you some of the things I've made and that have come handy.
I have found that I go from hobby to hobby and gradually work my way back to where I started from. So as you can imagine I never know what I will be doing from one day to the next although I prefer not to leave things I am working on half finished.

This is my latest phone case. It took a few hours to sew in all the pattern

I lined all the inside of the case and added velcro for the fastener

Most of the stitches are cross stitch, I prefer to cover all the material so its all one thickness

The front pattern is more abstract while the back is more structured

My needle roll perfect to keep needles in one place

The idea for this is from The Big Bang Theory.

The outside is cross stitched and the inside is lined. The needles then pin to the lining

Once you have the needle you need just roll oit back up and tie

This was my old needle case, pins, safty pins and needles all were in here.

I keep this now for some saftey pins. All the pages are felt so easy to use

All the outside is covered in stitches

This is another needle case or flip book as I sometimes call them

There are three panels so I decided on three different pieces to sew.

I thought a fancy lining would work well with this flip book

This flip book I've had for years as you can probably tell

This was my first attempt at a flip book

As you can see I added a small pocket to hold the needle threaders

These were oddments of material I made in to wrist bands with popper fasteners

Another phone case but with no fastening

All the material is covered in stitches

Another oldie, my crochet roll

The hooks just go through the stitches

My knitting needle and crochet rolls

Phone case made with crochet cotton

The bells come in handy if you drop your case

The twists are made by crocheting four stitches in to one stitch on a chain and repeating to end
